Our church has a small framed board in the narthex with brass name plates for service members of earlier 'big wars'. It hasn't been updated in many, many years. If your church has a veterans/service memorial or other ongoing way of recognizing military service, how do you manage it - who's responsible to it keep up to date, what is the criteria for having a name honored, how often is it updated, etc. I'm not asking about church services or events or ministries for service members; I'm trying to ask about permanent or semi-permanent recognition that's kept current (and how to update the one we have.)
