  • 1.  Sample investment policy

    Good morning

We are considering making some modifications to our saving and investing strategies.  We generally keep cash on hand of course for regular operating expenses.  But for "excess" monies, call it savings or rainy day funds, we tend to buy CD's.  Safe, but very low return. As stewards, we may owe our congregation greater returns.  (Matthew 25:14-30, the Parable of the Talents)

So, does anyone have a written faith-based investment policy they would be willing to share?  Are you avoiding certain types of investments? Avoiding so-called "immoral" funds or corporations?  Any guidance would be appreciated by your brothers and sisters in Christ at Redeemer Lutheran Church St Cloud Mn!

    Thank you,

    Marc

I would also be interested in receiving any faith-based investment policies. We are actively working toward an investment policy and I'd love for us to be able to consider the wisdom and sound practices of our Lutheran community.

    Thank you in advance!
