Our church is hosting a Trunk or Treat event every year around Halloween. We don't collectively and explicitly share the Gospel with those who come but hope to have personal conversations with visitors one-on-one. We usually do have some church or faith related materials available.
How does your church celebrate or make use of Halloween? How do you build meaning to it in the church? Since I'm not originally from the US and didn't grow up with the tradition, hI'm curious about the holiday's significance to churches, especially in LCMS.
