Dear Tom,
This resource is not an annual one but rather a great kickoff to renewed focus on giving: Giving Challenge by Zach Zehnder, out in October. Our church (All Saints, Bellevue WA) has done all the other Red Letter Challenges and we are quite pleased with these studies. We will do the Giving Challenge during Lent 2026. I'm an office admin at our church and happy to chat more if you're interested! office@allsaints-lcms.com

Subject: Consecration Sunday (or something similar)
Hi all. My name is Tom Williamson and I am the President of the congregation at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. I'm doing some research to gather resources to educate our congregation on our finances, educate on the benefit of giving consistently (electronic giving), and set up a stewardship campaign that can bring the congregation together to maximize giving. The goal would be to make it simple to encourage our Stewardship board to do this annually. I have the "New Consecration Sunday" manual by Herb Miller but it seems like it may be a little outdated. I also have a good article I found on the Michigan District website about offering an annual stewardship emphasis (program/campaign). Do any of you have suggestions on additional resources that may be helpful or anyone had successful experience doing something similar? Thank you so much.
In His service,
Tom Williamson
