    Hello Everyone,
I know this topic has been brought up before, but it looks like it's been a few years since the last time.

Our congregation is looking into updating our member database software system.  Ideally we are looking for one that combines member records as well as financial transactions for the church (replacing Quickbooks). Does anyone have recommendations for the system you use?  Or things you like/dislike about your current system?

    Thank you,

Hi Heather! I am a new church secretary for Immanuel Lutheran Church in Schleswig Iowa.  We use Shephard Staff software and so far i feel it is pretty user friendly.  It has a financial side and also keeps track of membership, contributions and financials. Being a newbie to the church end of financials but not bookkeeping, i feel that it really works for our church.  We are a fairly small church, but the program is capable of fulfilling large churches needs as well.  I hope this helps and i hope that you find what you are needing.

We have been using the Church360 software for about 8 years. Its Members and Ledger systems are fully integrated and quite user friendly. Vanco, our e-giving contribution service provider, rounds out our software solutions. As a former CPA, I can confidently say that this group of software solutions is extremely adequate for the church's financial and reporting needs.
